Iran: Stop Terrorists from Entering Iraq

Any doubt what this guy is up to? Clearly he sees an opportunity for Iran to take the lead in rallying neighboring countries to "assist" Iraq with their internal security problems. Gee... didn't these guys fight a war less than two decades ago? Some advice for the Iraqis: Beware of Iranian Islamo-fascists bearing gifts! We think we see a large wooded camel just outside the gates of Baghdad.

Aljazeera.Net:
Iran has told Iraq's neighboring countries that they should stop terrorist groups from entering the country because they create an excuse for foreign troops to stay.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president, told ministers from Iraq's neighbours that surrounding states were committed to ensuring stability in Iraq.

"It is necessary to stop the crossing of terrorist groups into Iraq who aim at creating insecurity, hatred and differences, and pave the way for the presence of foreign forces in Iraq," Ahmadinejad told the foreign ministers in Tehran on Saturday.

He did not say where "terrorist" groups were crossing into Iraq from or how they were entering.

The US accuses Iran of backing some insurgent groups in Iraq, a charge which Tehran denies.
