Moved to Wordpress !!!

Just to leave a post here on BlogSpot domain that we have decided to move to Wordpress for our publishing needs.

Yep... that's right! Bye Bye Blogger... After four years and 1500+ posts on an otherwise ground breaking platform, we have decided to switch to a more flexible blogging platform for ZZ N&S.

We apologize for any formatting problems you may have experienced... we believe we have taken care of most of them. More on what we are planning later on. Right now its back to testing and porting the site.

We do regret however that our old permalinks are not compatable with the Wordpress formatting (unless we can find a way to port them over). We have the blogger formating of all of posts archived and backed up just in case someone has figured this gotcha out. In the meantime, feel free to re-Digg a few of our older posts that you might find interesting if you are so inclined...

We are at the same URL http://zardozz.com/zz/

And we are still using FEEDBURNER as our primary feed. http://feeds.feedburner.com/zz

Iranian Guards Warn U.S. to F_k Off

Well now the U.S. has gone and done it! We have pissed off the Iranian Revolutionary Guard who has now put us on notice that they will in fact INCREASE their attacks on U.S. military who are seeking to establish a stable society within Iraq. The threat comes as Washington considers placing their organization on our State Department's "Terrorist List". This is the list used to seize the financial assets of terrorist organizations world wide. Are we gearing up for a show down with the Islamic Republic of Iran? You tell me...
(TEHRAN) - The commander of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards was quoted on Saturday as threatening to deal heavier blows in future against the United States after Washington said it may label the force a terrorist group.

The Iranian daily Kayhan said commander-in-chief Yahya Rahim Safavi made clear the Guards would not bow to U.S. pressure and would use all their leverage against the Americans.

Kayhan did not provide direct quotes from the speech in the central city of Isfahan on Thursday.

U.S. officials said on Wednesday that Washington may soon name the Revolutionary Guard Corps as a foreign terrorist group, a move that would enable Washington to target its finances.

It would be the first time the United States has placed the armed forces of a sovereign government on its list of terrorist organizations.

Tehran and Washington, which cut diplomatic ties shortly after Iran's 1979 Islamic revolution, are embroiled in a deepening standoff over Tehran's disputed nuclear program.

They also blame each other for bloodshed in Iraq.

Flipping the bird
The Revolutionary Guards have already brushed off the latest threat from Washington and have said they will grow in strength despite U.S. efforts to isolate them.

Iran has threatened to strike U.S. regional interests if attacked over its nuclear program and Safavi has noted that Iranian missiles could hit warships operating anywhere in the Gulf and Oman Sea.

Tehran rejects Western accusations it is trying to build an atomic bomb and says its nuclear program is meant for peaceful energy.

The two countries accuse each other of creating strife in the Middle East, including Lebanon, Iraq and the Palestinian territories. The crisis in Iraq has pushed the arch foes (Iraq and Iran) to hold rare face-to-face talks to find an end to the bloodshed there.

The United States says it would prefer a diplomatic solution to the nuclear standoff but has not ruled out military action.

The Revolutionary Guards are an ideologically driven force, who see themselves as a guardians of the Islamic Republic. They have a separate command structure from the regular military.
"The commander of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards was quoted on Saturday as threatening to deal heavier blows in future against the United States after Washington said it may label the force a terrorist group." -- This sure sounds like evidence that they have already crossed the line. The U.S. has every right to attempt to isolate their finanacial assets. The rest of the world doensn't seem to give a sh-t what's going on in those centrifuges. The U.N. is an impotent corrupt organization and their inspections are a joke. As for striking U.S. regional interests... I suspect Israel already has its battle plans drawn up... - zzb

Bush Contracts CNN Reporters to write War Report

CNN has wasted no time preempting the report by General Petraeus next month by conducting a poll in advance asking viewers if they would reject the report even if the General claims the U.S. is making progress. Nothing like unbiased journalism and loaded polling.

(ATLANTA) — With a new CNN poll showing that 53 percent of Americans plan to reject the upcoming Iraq progress report by the top U.S. military commander and the U.S. ambassador there, President George Bush today announced he had contracted with several CNN reporters and anchors to write the final version of the report “in order to salvage a shred of credibility.”

FROM CNN NEWS: "President Bush frequently has asked Congress -- and the American people -- to withhold judgment on his so-called troop surge in Iraq until Gen. David Petraeus, the commander in Iraq, and Ryan Crocker, U.S. ambassador to Iraq, issue their progress report in September.

But according to a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released Thursday, 53 percent of people polled said they suspect that the military assessment of the situation will try to make it sound better than it actually is. Forty-three percent said they do trust the report."

“I can understand why the American people don’t believe Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker — men who lay their lives on the line daily to bring peace and justice to Iraq,” said President Bush. “That’s why I’m hiring these journalism boys from Atlanta to write this report.”

The president, explaining the 11th-hour decision, said, “Americans trust the kind of men whose faces wear the stain of heavy cosmetic makeup, whose heads have born the burden of daily conditioning rinses and relentless doses of hairspray. But guys like Petraeus and Crocker — who live in Kevlar vests, floss the sand out of their teeth at night and make daily life-and-death choices — may be prone to stretch the truth. That’s why my fellow Americans put their faith in the men of CNN; men who employ people to choose their neckties, who wear earphones so others can tell them what to say and which way to turn. These are the kind of men who pour their blood, sweat and tears into devising a clever way to transition from a car-bombing story to the latest compelling video of Elvis impersonators. These are men of integrity, men who talk-the-walk and, therefore, men who have earned our trust.”

Meanwhile, the latest CNN poll shows that 92 percent of the people who get their news from CNN believe the results of the latest CNN poll. --- [Hat Tip: Scott Ott / ScrappleFace]

Woman Arrested for Public Sex with Man in Kilt

(FARGO, N.D.) - A woman has pleaded guilty to having sex in a public place, with a man who allegedly wore a kilt and exposed himself to passing vehicles.

A 20-year-old Fargo woman pleaded guilty Thursday to having sex in a public place last month with a Moorhead man wearing a kilt and scheduled to marry another woman the following day.

Chandra Marie Schaefer, 3407 46th Ave. S.W., received a one-year deferred sentence and one year of unsupervised probation for the July 25 incident. She was also ordered to pay $300 in fines and fees.

Schaefer and Nathan Ross Blair, 24, were arrested after police received reports around 3:15 a.m. that a man in a kilt was exposing himself to passing cars and then seen having sex with a woman on a car in the 1000 block of North University Drive.

A friend pointed the intertwined pair out to police after they moved near a pine tree, court records say.

Blair has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and fornication stemming from the incident. He is scheduled to appear in court again Oct. 16.

With a face like that the woman should have worn the kilt over her head. Come to think of it maybe she did.

Chavez Declares Himself President for Life

--- [Hat Tip: C&F]

From FOX News: Venezuela's Chavez Seeking to Change Constitution to Allow Perpetual Re-Election.
Chavez, who is seeking to transform Venezuelan society along socialist lines, announced late Tuesday that he would unveil his project before crowds of supporters at the National Assembly. He predicted it would bring renewed political upheaval to Venezuela.

Chavez's political allies firmly control the National Assembly, which is expected to approve the plan within several months. It then would have to be approved by citizens in a national referendum.

Critics accuse Chavez of seeking to become a lifelong leader, like his close friend Fidel Castro. Chavez denies allegations that he poses a threat to democracy, noting that he has repeatedly won elections by wide margins.

No doubt the Democrats have a plan to deal with Chavez along with the budget deficit and the Iraq War. Obama for one will sit him down for a spot of tea and open a cordial Anti-American dialogue in the spirit of solidarity with the oppressed.

U.S. May Deem Iranian Rep. Guard Terrorist and the Earth Round

(WASHINGTON) — Officials in the U.S. State Department are reportedly close to labeling Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps a “terrorist” organization. At the same time, sources also indicate that the State Department may soon label the Earth “round”.

“The Earth has all the hallmarks of a round or spherical object,” said one unnamed official at State. “The in-house debate is still vigorous and ongoing, but it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that we could come out with a definitive statement about the shape of our planet within the next year or so.”

Meanwhile, many in the State Department are still reluctant to use the “terrorist” label for an organization that equips, funds, and trains people to commit acts of terror against civilians and U.S. troops in Iraq because it could have “a chilling effect” on efforts to get Iran to halt its clandestine nuclear weapons program.

“The last thing in the world we want to do,” said one official, “is to offend people who are secretly plotting to destroy us.” --- as reported by satirist Scott Ott / ScrappleFace

Iran's Natanz nuclear complex is about
300 kilometers south of Tehran
ROTFL.... The very idea that there is a debate going on in Washington about labeling the Iranian Republic Guard a terrorist organization in order to put additional financial pressure on that organization in retaliation for contributing to the killing of American service personnel demonstrates how dysfunctional our political leaders in Congress have become. Iranian Republican Guard involved in terrorism activity? Does a bear shit in the woods?

Scott Ott, satirical author, hits the nail on the head with respect to the total insanity that is now transpiring in the Middle East. Remember folks, the centrifuges are spinning in Natanz, Iran as you read this while the Iranian president is laughing his ass off. Freezing Republican Guard assets by officially classifying them as a "terrorist" organization should make sense to Republican and Democrat alike. But not in an election year. Expect to hear from Mama Moonbat Sheehan and the other crazies that we should not even consider such an action lest we anger Islamic sensitivities!!

As a Working Mom, It's Hard To Find Time to Masturbate

As a single mother of three with a full-time career, I've got a lot on my plate. Between making the children's breakfast in the morning and making sure they brush their teeth at night, I hardly have any time to take care of myself. Sometimes, I just get so darn busy that I'll realize it's 6 p.m. and I haven't even eaten yet! Can you imagine? Not that I'm complaining, though. I love being a mom. But I'll tell you what—sometimes I find it just about impossible to find a spare moment to stimulate my clitoris until I reach glorious climax.

From the moment I wake up, I'm always worrying about someone else. I've got to make the kids' lunches, get them on the bus—no easy task when it comes to Melanie—and then race around to get the house straightened up so I can leave for work. And after a grueling eight-hour day, I've got to turn around and go grocery shopping, stop at the bank, and pick up the kids after their extracurricular activities. I'm telling you, sometimes it feels like I barely have a second to breathe, let alone 20 minutes to writhe beneath my bedspread with the passionate thoughts of sensuous lovemaking until I gasp with the force of my full-body orgasm.

Of course, I can't blame that entirely on the kids. Sure, there are times when I'm picking up dinner, and I think about how easy it would be to sneak off to the restroom and rub off a quickie. But then a special on that cereal the kids like distracts me, or I happen to run into a chatty neighbor, or I'm just too pooped out from work to take that special "me time." And that's really no one's fault but my own. I just keep telling myself, "That's okay, Sheryl. Tomorrow you can take the afternoon off and run a bath, light some candles, and tease your engorged vulva to thoughts of that carpenter who put in our basement molding. Tomorrow."

But I never do.

I'm not usually one to whine about such things, but my work isn't doing me any favors either. All day long I'm in meetings or filling out expense reports or trying to fix the work that that damn Carol didn't do right the first time. Even if I do take my lunch break to slip off into the handicapped stall, hike up my skirt, and start pleasuring my body with two, three, sometimes four fingers at a time, inevitably my cell phone will ring or someone will walk in and distract me, and eventually I just give up and go back to my desk having never shuddered uncontrollably with the powerful release only my dexterous hands can provide.

No one tells you when you're young, but having kids just upends your whole life. One minute, you're more than willing to lie on the couch for two or more hours, rubbing massage oil over your breasts and inner thighs until your primed body is aching for that last gentle stroke that will send it over the edge. And then the next minute you have a few children and all of the sudden the only thing that gets you excited is not finding another cavity at the dentist's office. It's all about priorities. And, until the kids go off to good colleges and I save up enough vacation days to make it worthwhile, I guess getting down on all fours in front of the full-length mirror and slowly working my trusty purple vibrator in and out of my dripping love canal with increasing speed and intensity will just have to wait.

I only wish I still had a husband to take some of this work off my hands. If I had a man around the house, I bet I could find all sorts of opportunities to masturbate.

Ah, well. No rest for the weary, I suppose. I'm certainly not going to win any points with the feminists by saying so, but maybe we women simply can't have it all. Maybe we have to make the choice between being a working woman who occasionally coaxes her pussy into such a lather that her hands are slicked with love juices, or a mother who spontaneously pulls over to the side of the road on the way to pick up the kids from day camp and swirls her fingers over her love button over and over and again and again, faster and faster until she's screaming, "Yes! Yes!" and slamming her fists on the car horn.

Because sometimes when you try to have it all, you end up losing what's most important to you: earth-shattering, toe-curling multiple orgasms. --- [Hat Tip: satire written by Cheryl Marie Vos ]

We always suspected that soccer moms are far too stressed out. Cheryl Marie's story seems to confirm this. American moms sure have it tough !!

Rove To Take Over Hillary Campaign

In the event that you missed it. Karl Rove announced today that he will resign as the chief political adviser to President Bush. Just what does this mean exactly? Well here is one satirical perspective on the resignation that might give most of you goose bumps!!

(WASHINGTON - Satire) — Karl Rove, the chief adviser to George Bush since 1993, in a new interview with the Wall Street Journal, said he would resign from the Bush administration effective August 31, to spend more time with family and to head up the presidential campaign of Democrat front runner Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY.

Mr. Rove called the move “a cold calculated decision to remain in charge of the U.S. government indefinitely.”

“I crave power,” Mr. Rove told the Journal, “and I can’t get my fix working for a lame duck president. I’ve been informally advising future President Clinton for about a year. I have a lot in common with Hillary — mostly notably the ice water that flows through our veins and the unbridled lust to rule the nation with an iron fist.”

President Bush plans to make a statement about the Rove resignation, as soon as he can find someone to tell him what to say. --- as reported by satirist Scott Ott / ScrappleFace

We have to mention to Scott that if Rove decides to help out the Democrats to maintain his role as leader of the "Free World" for the next eight years he would do better trying to lend a hand to Barack O'Bomb'a first. Barack seems to be in more dire need for an injection political campaign smarts than Hillary. Especially after his recent more scatter brained than usual foot-in-mouth remarks leading to a near international incident with Pakistani leader Mushaarf.

NRA Takes Solice in Proposed Physician Ban

One of our readers sent us this set of very interesting statistics:

Doctors:

(A) The number of doctors in the U.S. is 700,000
(B) Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 17.14%

Statistics courtesy of the U.S. Dept. Of Health & Human Services

Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, All age groups, is 1,500
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.001875%

Statistics courtesy of the FBI

So statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more Dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, guns don't kill people, doctors do.

NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR
Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!

Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld Statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention.

Regardless of your political persuasion, you have to admit these facts are pretty ironic!! Long live the 2nd Amendment and raise your glass to medical malpractice insurance!

By the way... It's rumored that Congress will launch a full investigation to ban physicians on the OSHA Health and Safety threats posed by doctors in the U.S.... afterall, they have nothing more constructive to do with their time.

Iran Killing U.S. Military

So exactly when can it be said that a formal state of war exists between Iran and the U.S.? How many more cases of direct evidence of Iranian arms and military personnel killing U.S. military will be necessary to justify a retaliation against the barbaric Islamic Fascist State of Iran? Wait now, excuse me! We are leaving Iraq so who gives a rat's ass right?

C&F just about sums it up below. Some would say... RUN with your tail between your legs! I suspect that's NOT what our men and women in uniform are thinking right about now...

Let's not ask politicians or left wingers.... let's ask the dovish-hawk, Barack Obama, if HE would authorize an attack on Iran if he had indisputable evidence that they were in fact facilitating the death of American forces...

--- [Hat Tip: C&F]

From the New York Times:
Attacks on U.S.-led forces using a lethal type of roadside bomb said to be supplied by Iran reached a new high in July, according to the U.S. military.

The devices, known as explosively formed penetrators, were used to carry out 99 attacks last month and accounted for a third of the combat deaths suffered by U.S.-led forces, Lt. Gen. Raymond Odierno, the No. 2 commander in Iraq, said in an interview.

Such bombs, which fire a semi-molten copper slug that can penetrate the armor on a Humvee and are among the deadliest weapons used against U.S. forces, are used almost exclusively by Shiite militants. U.S. intelligence officials have presented evidence that the weapons come from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, although Iran has repeatedly denied providing lethal assistance to Iraqi groups.

In recent weeks, the U.S. military has focused on mounting operations in sanctuaries used by Al-Qaida in Iraq, a Sunni group that is predominantly made up of Iraqis but which has foreign leadership. But, as the information provided by Odierno shows, Shiite militias remain a major worry. ...

According to Odierno, who serves as the day-to-day commander of U.S. troops in Iraq, 73 percent of the attacks that killed or wounded U.S. troops in Baghdad in July were carried out by Shiite militants...

Of the 79 U.S. troops killed in July, the lowest toll in months, 23 died as a result of attacks with the devices, according to data supplied by Odierno's command.

"July was an all-time high," said Odierno, referring to strikes with such devices. Penetrator attacks have been a worry for years. In 2005, the United States sent a private diplomatic protest to Tehran complaining that Iran's Revolutionary Guards and the Iranian-backed Hezbollah had been training Iraqi Shiite insurgents in Iran and providing them with bomb-making equipment.

According to U.S. military data, penetrator attacks accounted for 18 percent of combat deaths of Americans and allied troops in Iraq in the last quarter of 2006.
--- Article from the New York Times
Where is the payback?? If not an invasion how about a poke in the eye with some well placed Tomahawks?? Oh excuse me.... let's ask for a U.N. Security Council resolution and official protest that the Islamic Republic of Iran can thumb their nose at! A reminder for everyone... The centrifuges are spinning in Iran while the world sits on it's hands. Barack, would you make a pre-emptive strike if you had the intelligence that Iran was overtly behind the deaths of American military?? Or do you just reserve that tactic for Osama Bin Laden hiding in his caves? Hypocrites all!!

Iran Arrests 200+ Rock Fans

Who ever said that Iran was not a progressive nation? They are fine with concerts as long as they are not "Satanic" in nature. Perhaps it's time for the west to fuel a rock revolution in Tehran!! Revolution Number 10 !!

To quote one of our readers via Digg: "To those in Iran about to rock, we salute you! --- hat tip: RuffRidr"

From FOX News: Iran Arrests 230 Youths Attending 'Satanic' Rock Concert.

Iran arrested more than 200 music fans at an underground rock concert that one official called a "satanic" gathering and authorities accused the youths of breaking Islamic law. A witness said Sunday that police raided the concert as it was ending late Wednesday near the town of Karaj, some 30 miles west of the capital.

"Police detained the young people who had gathered to enjoy music in a private orchard," said the witness, who requested anonymity for fear of government retaliation.

The arrests come during a recent crack down on "immoral behavior" in Iran, where holding mixed parties or concerts without permission has been forbidden since the 1979 Revolution that brought hardline Shiite Muslim clerics to power.

Calls to authorities were not immediately returned on Sunday. But the public prosecutor in Karaj, Ali Farhadi, said Saturday about 230 people were arrested during the concert.

"Most of them were wealthy young people who were not aware of the satanic nature of the concert," Farhadi told state television. "A female singer, who was performing, and some rock and rap music bands were among the detained." ...

Boys and girls mingled and danced together during the concert, and some of the women were not wearing the modest clothing and Islamic headscarf required by law, media reports said. Concert organizers were not available for comment.

Obama Foot in Mouth Speech Ignites Anti U.S. Rally

In one fell swoop, Barack "O'bomb'a" managed to reinforce in the minds of millions of people around the world the notion that Democrats may also subliminally be supporting the so called "Bush Doctrine" of "preemptive offensive defense", in the so called "War on Terror". Ironic isn't it? The self proclaimed early critic of the Bush administration's invasion of Iraq now openly justifies striking within the sovereign nation of Pakistan when, in his judgment, we are in hot pursuit of Al-Qaeda and he deems their leadership is not co-operating with the U.S. Sound familiar? LOL... trigger happy O'bomb'a wouldn't even wait for that 12th U.N. Resolution before making his unilateral move! And you thought this strategy was only reserved for hawkish Republican "cowboys"? How on earth does he rationalize his logic in light of his criticism of the current administration's decision to launch the Iraq invasion against a government which, at least in fact, had a clear pattern on non-compliance to passed U.N. Security Council resolutions and thumbed his nose at the global community!

This was a thoughtless and irresponsible statement coming out of the mouth of a high profile, up until now, serious potential Presidential candidate for the world to hear in all his pandering arrogance. He is a President wanna be who would potentially have a finger on the "red button" while clearly demonstrating very little understanding of international diplomacy. Even Kucinich is not stupid enough to make such a public comment. But you could give him a pass because if he were elected he would have already disbanded our military making the entire issue moot!

No wonder people in other nations are more concerned now than ever about the U.S. as a rogue super power. More concerned then they are with some of the so called dictatorships around the globe. Outside of covert terrorism few have the ability to annihilate the planet like we do. Nothing like a stupid comment from a strong Presidential contender to help justify their fears of an increasingly trigger happy U.S. image. What if President Putin had made such a comment!! What do you think the reaction would be from our leadership on the Hill??? What if Putin said..."We have a right to invade any neighboring country that is not co-operating with us in our hunt against murdering Chechnyan terrorists?" What if China decided that Taiwanese authorities were not "co-operating" with them and they just decided to strike subversives in Taipei unilaterally? Concider the North Korean and South Korean debacle? Turkey and Northern Iraq! What on earth can people around the world be thinking regarding the state of our American political system and the quality of our leadership in Washington when they hear a comment like this???

Thanks to this wet behind the ears novice Senator, who is frankly in way over his head in our opinion, our State Department is now forced to do damage control with the Pakistani government. Frankly we are struggling to understand how Obama will justify his irresponsible comment in light of his previous statements let alone try to understand his motivation for making it. Did he think he would be winning over the "hawkish" vote within his own party with a comment that smacks of the Bush Doctrine? A doctrine which the majority of Democrats appear to outwardly despise?? We just don't get the logic! Either he is very naive or just plain stupid and prone to shooting himself in the foot.

What a mess this Presidential Campaign is making of our foreign policy and image as a nation, the present war not withstanding. This was the last thing that President Mushaarf of Pakistan needs to be dealing with within his country... Obama clearly is NOT presidential material and he is making Hillary Clinton, (dare I say it), look like a old time veteran of international diplomacy.

From Associated Press :
Democratic US presidential hopeful Barack Obama was criticised by Pakistani officials as 'irresponsible' for saying in a policy speech last week that, if elected, he might order unilateral military strikes in the country against al-Qaeda. Following the Pakistani officials' comments, hundreds chanted anti-US slogans and burnt a US flag.

Bush administration officials had already angered Pakistanis last week by saying they would consider such strikes if intelligence warranted them.

In Miran Shah, a major town in the troubled region bordering Afghanistan, about 1,000 tribespeople condemned recent Pakistani military operations in the area and vowed to repel any US attack. 'We are able to defend ourselves. We will teach a lesson to America if it attacks us,' a local cleric, Maulvi Mohammed Roman, told the rally. More...

Our congressional leaders all seem to have their collective heads up their assess. This is often true in general but especially true during Presidential election campaigns. And with Republicans stomping their feet and walking out of Congress this past week, is there any wonder why the average American voter is fed up with ALL of them?? How can any Democrat now vote for O'bomb'a the now self proclaimed dovish-hawk, after his comments this past week? Especially if these same Democrats believe that the invasion of Iraq was not justified based on the present administration's "preemptive" reasoning?? Then again... given the theatrics... maybe American politics and the electoral process has become more about voting for your "team" rather than the individual that has the character to say and do the right things for the country regardless of political affiliation. -- ZZB

O Bomba The Hawkish

For a change we have to side in with Hillary Clinton on this one. Either O'Bomb'a is as wet behind the ears as most people seem to believe or he really thinks he is winning over Moderate Republicans with his latest rhetoric. For one thing his comments are the epitome if irresponsibility. What makes his approach to Pakistan any different than Bush's approach to Iraq? Pretty ironic don't you think coming out of the mouth of a far left Democrat? Barrack Obama is trying to paint himself "tough on terrorism" but he is coming off like an irresponsible schoolboy. This definitely shows a nativity and lack of experience which will bit him in his ass. At best.... a prediction... the first black VP candidate behind Hillary Clinton on the 2008 ticket. Afterall... Hillary should be able to claim to be able to take him, the freshman novice Senator, under her wing after the primary dust settles, and groom him as her successor. One big assumption. She wins the election in 2008.

Pakistan slams ‘ignorant’ Obama attack warning...

ISLAMABAD (AFP) - Pakistan accused Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama of “sheer ignorance” for threatening to launch US military strikes against Al-Qaeda on Pakistani soil.

Obama warned Wednesday that if he is elected president, he would order US forces to hit extremist targets on Pakistan’s frontier with Afghanistan if embattled military ruler President Pervez Musharraf failed to act.

“Such statements are being made out of sheer ignorance,” Pakistan’s Minister of State for Information, Tariq Azeem, told AFP. “They are not fully apprised about the ground realities and not aware of the efforts by Pakistan.” --- [Hat Tip: LGF]
Personally I think she will do better with John Edwards as a running mate, but the the Democrats may not be able to resist having a black minority on their ticket alongside the first woman candidate for President regardless of how many bridges Barack burns with Hillary in the primaries. They say she can be a pretty vindictive b 'atch so he best not bomb too many of those bridges or he will never get his chance to invade Pakistan.
